Gigantes de Guayana secured their place in the Super League Quarterfinals on Wednesday after beating Gladiadores de Anzoátegui 72-60 and reaching their eighth victory of the year.
The duel between eastern teams began with streaks from side to side. Although Gigantes started attacking with everything, the first quarter ended level 11-11 and the parity remained for halftime 31-31.
Eliézer Montaño scored 11 points to command the Gladiators attack, along with Derwin Ramírez and newcomer Raymond Rada, who started the course with Brillantes de Maracaibo.
