The San Diego Padres achieved a resounding 9-5 victory against the Milwaukee Brewers to reach 40 wins for the season in a duel where Luis Arráez was once again the protagonist.

The team opened the scoring in the bottom of the second inning with Jackson Merrill's groundout for the force out, but not before driving in Jake Cronenworth.

In the bottom of the fifth inning Luis Arráez sent his second home run of the year to right field to bring home Kyle Higashioka.

Jake Cronenworth tied the game with his 12th home run of the year with a powerful shot to right field.

For the seventh inning Cronenworth appeared again with a single to left field to drive in José Azocar. After that, Dinovan Solano walked for Cronenworth to score.
