The World Health Organization (WHO) is analyzing more than 25 families of viruses and bacteria, including "disease x".
It should be remembered that "disease x" is the term used by the scientific community to refer to an unidentified pathogen.
For this, the WHO summoned more than 300 scientists who are analyzing these viruses, but emphasizing the latter due to its high level of danger; refers SDPNews.
What's more, experts warn that the so-called "disease x" could cause a more lethal pandemic than covid-19.
According to analysts, this disease could be zoonotic in nature, that is, of animal origin.
And later, it could be transmitted from animals to humans.
However, it is being analyzed whether this disease could be generated in laboratories, in order to rule out whether a "bioterrorism pandemic" could occur in the coming years.
In addition, scientists warn that the covid-19 pandemic - despite the fact that the end of the global health emergency was declared – should not cease to be considered a threat to health.
This is because the virus can evolve with new variants that generate other waves of infections and deaths in the world.
Last Tuesday, the World Health Organization (WHO) urged world leaders to devise different strategies to deal with deadlier pandemics.
