The prosecutor condemned the action of the mayor

The mayor of the Sucre municipality of the Yaracuy state, Luis Adrián Duque will be investigated for the crime of segregation after he marked the houses of covid-19 patients as reflected in videos that this Wednesday went viral on social networks.

This was reported by the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab in a message published on his Twitter account, where he condemned the fact and reported that after learning about the events, the Public Ministry and the Ombudsman's Office proceeded to go to the communities of this municipality Yaracuyano to remove the posters placed by the mayor.

One of those who spoke out about this fact was the Deputy Minister of Anti-Blockade Policies, William Castill, who made this action "ethically unacceptable". "It is understood, Mayor Duque, that the measure seeks to protect the population of Guama and the municipality, but must appeal to the Popular Power," he added.
