With fumigation they will fight dengue in Guarenas

The disinfection crews against covid-19 of the Ambrosio Plaza municipality (Guarenas) of the Miranda state will have a fumigation component against the mosquito Aedes Aegypti, transmitter of dengue, whose work will begin from next week on the instructions of Mayor Luis Figueroa, as reported by the manager of Urban Management, Omar Regalado.

The official said that the 69 members of the Brigade of Men in Red will have work almost 18 hours a day in the city and that includes the central area, from Plaza Bolívar to the boulevard of February 27, between 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 in the afternoon.  

On the other hand, the municipal director of Health, María Isabel Aguirre, announced the early opening of the Leonor Guerra Health School, located in La Guairita, where people who present one or two symptoms associated with the coronavirus, such as headache, pain in the body, diarrhea and fever.

He indicated that if the patient does not improve, they will be transferred for treatment to the Comprehensive Diagnostic Center (CDI), the Dr. Luis Salazar Domínguez hospital, attached to Social Security, Dr. Eugenio P. D 'Bellard de Guatire and Victorino Santaella, from Los Teques.

The residents of Guarenas can report suspected cases, request support for emergencies, make recommendations or make complaints to the Cero Covid situation room, attached to the General Staff of Health, through the telephone numbers 0416-6056749 and 0416-6222724.
