In a special session, the new board of directors of the Socialist Legislative Council of the Monagas state (Clesem) was sworn in, this time assuming the presidency, the deputy Hildemaro Millán and the vice-presidency, the indigenous deputy Astrid Baeza.
The president of the Clesem, assured that through his management he will promote the communal parliament: “This server came to work, they are counting on me and, despite the exceptions of the deputies Albert Narváez and Guillermo Vásquez, I was elected. However, I call them to work for the people ”.
Millán assured that they will continue working together with the governor of Monagas, Yelitze Santaella, to provide the people with a management that contributes to the collective well-being, protecting those most affected by the sanctions and the economic blockade.
The new authorities were also elected in the Municipal Chamber of Maturín. In this way, as of this Tuesday, Councilor Domingo Rocca is the new president; the councilor, Emiliana Fuentes is the vice president, the councilor Erika García will serve again as the secretary and Betsi Carolina Jiménez as sub-secretary.
