Pumps and transformers arrive in Barinas to improve services

The Barinas state government received the endowment of pumps, water motors and transformers, among other equipment, to improve public services in the Corazón de Jesús, Alto Barinas and Ramón Ignacio Méndez parishes of the capital municipality.

This Thursday, Governor Argenis Chávez received the equipment at the Regional Government Palace, accompanied by Mayor Rafael Paredes, among other authorities.

The regional president explained that, with the support of the national Executive, the budget was obtained for the acquisition of six engines, required for the reactivation of seven wells in the communities: La Dignidad, February 4, Santa Inés de la Arenosa, sector A from Ciudad Tavacare, Araguaney and block A of Juan Pablo II.

Twelve transformers were also obtained that will be installed by the National Electric Corporation (Corpoelec) in La Esperanza, Mijagua, Altamira, Don Samuel, Mi Jardín and Llano Alto.

In addition, 45 cans of paint, reflectors, cables, lights and the materials necessary for the recovery of 1.200 public lighting points were received.

“We are going to rehabilitate 10 fields in order to guarantee recreation spaces for all our people. We are responding to the requests of the communities, strengthening services such as water, electricity, gas, among other priority areas, ”Chávez declared.
