From the Lara State Epidemiology Operations Center, the governor of this entity, Adolfo Pereira, reported the receipt of 4.600 doses of the Sinopharm vaccine, this Friday, March 26.

He explained that they will be distributed to the Comprehensive Community Health Areas (ASIC) distributed in the nine municipalities of the entity.

He estimated that thanks to the agreement that President Nicolás Maduro maintains with Russia and China, the Lara state received a new endowment from the Asian country, destined for the health and education sector.

He also extended words of gratitude for the second supply of vaccines to the vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, who heads the national commission of the covid-19 and to the Minister of Popular Power for Health, Carlos Alvarado.

He also said that in the Lara State Epidemiology Operations Center the vaccines are kept in perfect protection, complying with the cold chain that goes between two to three degrees Celsius. And in the event of any contingency in the electrical system, there is a power plant.

"It is here at the Epidemiology Center where we ensure all vaccines for different pathologies that come to our state for immediate application," he reiterated through a press release.

To date, the Larense entity has been endowed with an important number of doses of the Sinopharm (China), Sputnik V (Russian) type and the antiviral, Carvativir, better known as the miraculous drops of Dr. José Gregorio Hernández.
