About 173 police officers from the Trujillo state were promoted this Wednesday to the next higher grade, as part of the celebration of Police Week.
From the Bolivarian Forum of the city of Valera, Governor Henry Rangel Silva congratulated the men and women in blue for achieving this promotion with effort and dedication.
“Once again we highlight the important work of the men and women members of the Trujillo state police, an important institution that provides fundamental support to what is security, peace, and coexistence to the Trujillo people. Today we are recognizing and promoting 173 civil servants and civil servants, who met the requirements to climb the ranks and hierarchies granted by the institution ”, he highlighted.
The regional president thanked the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, for the contributions made to both the police and the entity's citizen security system. He also highlighted the integration that exists between the Fapet, the Bolivarian National Police, the citizen security organs and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces "to carry out the work for the benefit of the people."
For his part, the Fapet commander, Tcnel Germán Ojeda said that in four months at the head of the police, he has managed to recover the police facilities, vehicles, reactivate the dining room service at the stations, among other contributions.
“We have been working on the humanistic character of our professionals, following the legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez. We have recovered the facilities and the morale of our officers and that today is enhanced by these promotions. Every day the civil servants will be more professional because they are studying, they are preparing to take on the new challenges of the Bolivarian revolution, ”he said.
During the activity, the president of the Legislative Council of the Trujillo state, Alfredy Moreno presented the Order "Trujillo honor and glory" to eight Fapet officers, in recognition of their outstanding career at the service of the Trujillo people.
It should be noted that the girl Ashley Hernández, winner of the television contest Talent of heart in 2019, delighted those present with the interpretation of various themes of the Venezuelan plain; Likewise, the students of the Segundo Joaquín Delgado School of Performing Arts filled the Fabricio Ojeda auditorium of the Valera Bolivarian Forum with dance and color.
