Nidian Segueri, in charge of diesel distribution in the Pedro León Torres municipality, in Lara state, reported that diesel distribution reached 927.666 liters, in the first quarter of 2021.
The product is dispensed to agricultural producers and other prioritized sectors, in five certified service stations for the handling of this fuel in the aforementioned town, which is on the border with the state of Zulia.
Segueri explained: “The test has been tough, but the fighting spirit of the people has overcome the multiform war developed by the United States, as the main actor, against Venezuela. Likewise, the internal attacks on oil activity by parties of the right ”, he remarked.
He continued by highlighting that the civic-military union and the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) as an articulator together with the organized people, "becomes a perfect key to achieve distribution in order, with discipline and above all in an efficient way," he said .
He described that in 2020, "with the lowest oil sales in our history, enough diesel arrived to keep the prioritized sectors", adding that "they were supplied to avoid their paralysis."
In Torrense, according to certified figures from the fuel staff, 4.413.157 liters of diesel oil were distributed to 579 producers, representatives of large, medium and small dairy, livestock, poultry and pork companies, among others.
He assured that the health, food, security, public transport, heavy transport and public entities sectors continue to be served, among others contemplated in the Decree of State of Exception and National Economic Emergency in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
