The governor of Falcón state, Víctor Clark, inspected the improvement work being carried out at the San Bosco and Dr. Manuel Pérez Guerra outpatient clinics, in the Ampíes de Coro urbanization, which will serve as early diagnosis centers for covid-19.
Together with the Secretary of Health, Jesús Osteicochea, the first regional president highlighted that they will be visiting seven of the nine early diagnosis centers for covid-19, four (4) of them located in the Miranda municipality, two (2) in Colina and one (1) in Zamora, these health clinics will be equipped for the care of patients who require it, 24 hours a day.
Clark explained that the works being carried out are: air conditioning, painting and conditioning of the spaces, so they will be able to receive from the different communities people with covid-19 symptoms with mild symptoms, to take temperature measurements , respiratory rate, heart rate, oxygen saturation, as well as the application of PCR, antigenic and rapid test tests.
He also reported that in these centers 1.007 patients have been evaluated, with the intention of deconcentrating sentinel hospitals, offering greater care and improving the response in terms of follow-up at the home level.
The regional president indicated that patients with mild symptoms will be able to receive the drug kits; as well as they may refer to those cases that go from having mild to moderate or severe symptoms.
