In the Guárico state for an amount greater than Bs. 304 billion, the second phase of completion of the Comprehensive Athlete Care Clinic was approved, belonging to the Medical Association of Applied Sports Sciences, located in the city of San Juan de los Morros, which will have new spaces and health care services for the benefit of the sports union and the community of the point and circle.
The information was released by the governor of the Llanera entity José Vásquez, who asserted that this initiative will contribute to the sports massification in the region, which complements the recovery of sports spaces, logistical support, food for athletes, scholarships, among others.
The second phase in which the resources will be allocated, contemplates a building that is in gray work, with external and internal enclosures in blocks, in addition to the covered floors, where the installation of the electrical system, lighting, connectors, will be carried out. air conditioning among others.
This project will give rise to 14 spaces for: Directorate of Medical Control for Training and Medical Statistics; functional laboratory, psychology and kinanthropometry; rehabilitation areas with electrotherapy, magnetotherapy, contrast, hydrotherapy and massage therapy services; gym for mechanotherapy; among other spaces that will be used and shared.
For his part, the general director of the Sports Clinic, Luis Ruvalcaba Ordaz, stressed that this Clinic is characterized by being the only one of its kind active in the country that will provide quality care to athletes and guarantee their comprehensive development. In addition, he noted that 138 workers are active in the main structure of the clinic, offering care in areas such as: general medicine, physiatry, nutrition, dentistry, traumatology, psychology, clinical laboratory, among others.
