In the Guárico state, through the governorate, the We are Venezuela Movement and the José Gregorio Hernández Mission, in coordination with the institutional links, the "Care Plan for People with Disabilities" was deployed, which in a first phase will address the municipalities Roscio, Miranda, Guayabal and Ribas with the delivery of technical aids.
In this first installment, it was held in San Juan de los Morros, Juan Germán Roscio Nieves municipality, as part of the celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, according to the statements of the governor of Guárico José Vásquez.
The Regional president indicated that this in turn is part of the third strategic vertex of the government plan for the period 2022-2025, which has the name “Dr. José Gregorio Hernández »where social care programs will be expanded.
Therefore, Vásquez explained that the state has received care for more than 21.000 people with disabilities and the elderly, figures that are estimated to increase in the new stage of government.
For his part, Kevin Reina, state coordinator of the José Gregorio Hernández Mission, said that during the week the aforementioned municipalities will be served with the delivery of wheelchairs, crutches, canes or other items.
