The governor of the Bolivarian state of Aragua, GD Rodolfo Marco Torres, ordered a deployment in the Santiago Mariño municipality, in order to carry out a disinfection day to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
The day was led by the regional president, the secretary of security, José Romero Viloria, the mayor of the jurisdiction, Jhoana Sánchez, security forces, Civil Protection and firefighters.
"We are deployed today fulfilling instructions from our President Nicolás Maduro Moros, from Plaza Mariño, with a disinfection, cleaning and maintenance plan to combat Covid-19," Mayor Sánchez reported.
During the deployment, the mayor thanked the national executive and the governor for the support to carry out this type of conference that they have been running since the beginning of the quarantine.
"Thank you for all the support and effort you have given the people of Aragua in relation to prevention, citizen security and all areas of social development," he said.
He reported that during the day the Comprehensive Diagnostic Centers (CDI), the headquarters of the various police agencies, squares and schools were addressed, regarding the actions carried out by the Government of Aragua to combat the Coronavirus.
Finally, Governor Marco Torres called on the population to continue in a disciplined and conscious manner the protection measures, the use of masks, social distancing and abide by the presidential and regional decrees established during the quarantine to achieve the eradication of Covid- 19.
