The National Electricity Corporation (Corpoelec) has replaced 42 transformers in different communities of the state of Barinas to optimize the service in the llanera region.
The balance was released by Governor Argenis Chávez Frías, who explained that the work is carried out in an articulated manner with the Governor's Office and mayors as part of the plans carried out to improve distribution systems and serve the communities.
He highlighted that recently three transformers were delivered to benefit more than a thousand families in the Jesús Alvarado, San Genaro and Caja de Agua sectors of the Pedro Manuel Rojas municipality, as well as two teams were awarded to favor 30 families in Tronconal and Madre Vieja de Sosa .
Regarding public lighting, he stressed that so far in 2021 3.250 points have been recovered throughout the Barinese territory
“This week we rehabilitated 100 points in two parishes in the city of Barinas: 30 in the El Coromoto de la Rómulo Betancourt sector, as well as 40 in the Jabillo in Ciudad Varyná and 30 in Renacer Bolivariano in the Alto Barinas parish. We also installed 48 LED luminaires on Adonay Parra avenue ”, he said.
