The Single Health Authority in Táchira, Amelia Fressel reported that some 3 vaccines arrived at the entity for medical personnel from private health centers that treat Covid 200 patients, officials from the Fire Department, Military Hospital and Civil Protection ( national, state and municipal).

“It continues to be an achievement of President Nicolás Maduro Moros, Minister Carlos Alvarado, of the protector of the state of Táchira Freddy Bernal and of the inclusion policies establishing totally free vaccination and thus serving all these personnel who have fought on the front line to safeguard the life of all citizens ”, confirmed the doctor.

The spokesperson also stressed that despite the fact that the state of Táchira has the most active border in Latin America, the contagion curve has remained fairly flat. "We keep the curve flattened and this is shown by the morbidity and mortality figures for patients admitted to medical care centers," said Fressel.

Radicalization continues

President Nicolás Maduro Moros and the entire work team that accompanies him in the Presidential Commission decided to maintain the radicalization for the third week in view of the exponential growth so strong that the center of the country presents.

For this reason, Fressel expressed the importance of maintaining biosafety measures such as the correct use of a mask, social distancing, frequent hand washing, to keep the curve flattened and prevent the spread of the new aggressive Brazilian strain that invaded the center of the country.

To conclude, the single health authority said that "more than the vaccine is the state of consciousness that each person may have, because if you get vaccinated and don't take care of yourself, the effort of the National Government is lost."
