This Saturday, July 24, the 238th anniversary of the Birth of the Liberator, Simón Bolívar, is commemorated, in addition to the 198 years of the Naval Battle of Lake Maracaibo and the 210th anniversary of the Bolivarian Navy, a celebration that takes place throughout the country.

In the state of Bolívar, the solemn acts began at 6:00 in the morning, in the Plaza Bolívar of the capital city, with the raising of the National Flag, then the mass was held from the Metropolitan Cathedral.

With the participation of the military, civil and police authorities, MG Román Parra Yarza, commander of the Guayana Integral Defense Strategy Region No. 06, together with the governor of Bolívar, Justo Noguera Pietri, paid honors to Father Libertador, accompanied by the commanders de la Zodi Bolívar, GD Julmer Rafael Ochoa Romero and Rear Admiral Wilson Héctor Bolívar, commander of the Fluvial Bolivarian Marine Infantry Brigade in Ciudad Bolívar.

In the same way, before the pedestrian statue of the "Hero of America and the world Simón Bolívar", they made the floral offering at the time of commemorating the great altruistic feats made by the Great, according to the commander of the Redi Guayana, MG Román Parra Yarza, who also congratulated the Bolivarian Navy on its 210th anniversary.

With floral offerings to the father of the country, the Trujillo people remembered the 238 years of the birth of the Liberator Simón Bolívar, as well as the Day of the Naval Battle of Lake Maracaibo and the Day of the Bolivarian Navy.

From the Plaza Bolívar of the Trujillo municipality (capital), the commander of the Integral Defense Operational Zone (Zodi) 23, G / D Lenin Herrera, assured that both the military and civil authorities fulfilled the "national commitment" to pay tribute to man whose spirit "is in everything."

Herrera referred to the 198 years of the Naval Battle of Lake Maracaibo, “where Admiral Prudencio Padilla fought a strong and fierce naval battle conquering and defeating the Spanish Empire, which gave rise to one of the most important values ​​of the independence of our beloved Venezuela and of course today we also celebrate the Day of the Bolivarian Army ”.

The order speech was given by Captain José Ojeda Hernández, head of the Training Division of the Zodi 23, who recalled the origins of the Liberator Simón Bolívar, his actions inside and outside the country, his exploits and his passage through Trujillo lands.

For his part, the president of the Legislative Council of Trujillo state, Alfredy Moreno stressed that Bolívar is a reference of dignity, humility and patriotism in the world.

“The father of the country Simón Bolívar is a reference not only for Latin America and the Caribbean but for the entire world, a reference of humility, of Bolivarian dignity in the face of any empire that wants to come to dominate us. Today with Bolívar we ratify that we will continue to be free, independent, sovereign and under no circumstances will we give in to our principle of self-determination of the peoples, ”he said.

In civic-military union they celebrate in Barinas

In a civic-military union, Barinas commemorated the 238 years of the Birth of Simón Bolívar, as well as the National Navy Day and the 198 years of the Naval Battle of the Lake.

The solemn act was held in Plaza Bolívar in the city of Barinas with the assistance of the military authorities and the popular power.

The speaker was Rear Admiral Víctor Hugo Borjas Trujillo, who highlighted the libertarian ideals of the Father of the Nation and all the struggles won to consolidate a huge geopolitical conception.

“Bolívar made a superhuman effort to liberate Latin America. We maintain that commitment to continue the battle for our definitive liberation in accordance with State policy ”, he mentioned.

As part of the programming, there was a civic-military-police parade and the regional authorities, including the secretary of government; Jesús Monsalve and the commander of the Zodi-32 Barinas; José Serrano, placed a floral offering to the bust of Simón Bolívar.

Authorities paid honors and placed a wreath at the bust of the Father of the Nation.

Delta Amacuro joins the commemoration

In the Plaza Bolívar in Tucupita they hoisted the National tricolor in honor of the Birth of the Father of the Nation, Simón Bolívar, they also commemorated the Naval Battle of Lake Maracaibo and Bolivarian Army Day.

The mayor of the Tucupita municipality, Loa Tamaronis, the commander of the Integral Defense Operational Zone (Zodi) of Delta Amacuro, Vice Admiral Pedro Jesús Zapata Machín, and the Secretary General of Government of the Delta Amacuro state, Alexander Amares, led the protocol acts together to the other civil and military authorities.

“We are united for the celebration of the 238 years of the Birth of the Father of the Nation, Simón Bolívar, and the anniversary of the Battle of Lake Maracaibo, which freed us from the last Spanish stronghold in our homeland, today we affirm that this commitment, Those ideals of our liberators are more alive than ever and the entire Delta people have the support of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, ”said the commander of the Zodi, Jesús Machín.

In Delta Amacuro they delivered a wreath in commemoration at 238 years of age for the Liberator's Birth.

Bolivarian ideals reaffirm in Amazonas

When commemorating the 238 years of the birth of the giant of America, our father of the country Simón Bolívar and the 191 years of the Naval Battle of Lake Maracaibo, in the city of Puerto Ayacucho the protocol acts were held with the participation of representatives of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces together with popular power.

Through the Instagram account of the Government of Amazonas, @gobamazonas, it was learned that the delivery of floral offerings was made by the public and military organizations of the entity; C / N Franklin Ramón Rodríguez served as speaker of order and expressed his pleasure to be able to live on this historical date as a Venezuelan and serve as a soldier to the ideals of this distinguished man who fought for the independence of America.

Miguel Rodríguez, governor of the entity, was present at the formal acts in the company of José Zamora, mayor of the Atures Municipality; G / D Angelvis Pérez Commander of the Comprehensive Defense Operational Zone No. 63 Amazonas, among other authorities.

Rodríguez said: “We could not stop commemorating the birth of a great patriot, that Bolívar who 200 years ago gave us independence, freedom and sovereignty, still remains in the blood and in the spirit of these soldiers, who in each struggle they give their lives where problems are not solved alone ... as long as we have Bolivarian blood we will continue in resistance with the dignity of a people that lives under the historical force of Bolívar ”.

Merideños celebrated

In the state of Mérida, this Saturday, more than 130 men and women from the security and Integral Defense organizations gathered in the Bolívar Square of the entity to honor the Liberator, Simón Bolívar, for the 238 years of his birth. 

Rodolfo Josué Barrera, speaker of the Order of the Day, related in his speech that in 1813 the province of Mérida was where Bolívar was awarded the title of Liberator for the first time. He also reflected on the rebellious spirit of Simón Bolívar.  

Barrera expressed "we admire the ability to persuade members of Congress in 1810 and gestate in favor of independence."

The event was chaired by G / D Juan Ernesto Sulbaran Quintero, commander of the Integral Defense Zone (Zodi) 22, the president of the Legislative Council of the Bolivarian State of Mérida (Clebm), Miguel Reyes; and the president of the Corporation for the Protection of the People, (Corpomérida), Richard Lobo. Who delivered a floral offering and honored the equestrian image of the Liberator of America, Simón Bolívar.
