Amazonas has its own Eye Clinic

The gutter ophthalmological center with top-of-the-line equipment and high technology.

In the Atures municipality of Amazonas state, the Eye Clinic was inaugurated with high-tech equipment, thanks to the Cuba Venezuela agreement, in order to provide care to the Amazonian inhabitants and the surrounding populations.

The Government of Amazonas through its page @gobamazonas, indicated that the ophthalmological center located in the town of Provincial, Parhueña parish, is equipped with top-of-the-line high-tech equipment and became operational this Monday, June 21.

Dr. Reinol García, head of the Cuban Medical Mission in Venezuela, explained that the process of evaluation and selection of patients to be operated on will be carried out through a review, classification and diagnosis that allows guaranteeing the success of the surgical intervention or treatment. .

For his part, the governor of the state of Amazonas, Miguel Rodríguez, indicated that the first seven patients were successfully operated on at the Eye Clinic. "It is the joy of all in the midst of difficulties, to achieve these benefits for our people," he said, "a loving work of great dedication, which today we do together with the Cuban Medical Mission, to restore the vision to many Amazonenses," he said.

The Eye Clinic will serve the inhabitants of the Atures municipality and the people of the neighboring towns of Apure and the south of Bolívar state.
