Venezuela and Turkey united to boost fishing production in Sucre

The strategic alliances between Venezuela and the Republic of Turkey are strengthened, after the visit of the Turkish delegation to the Sucre state, to boost fish production in the region, reported the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Juan Laya, in the company of the General Secretariat of Government in the entity, Karenly Sánchez.

During an inspection of the Empresa Socialista Pesquera del Alba (PESCALBA), the national and regional authorities reiterated that thanks to the efforts of the National Government and the Regional Government, led by Edwin Rojas, these alliances seek to strengthen the fishing industry, through in order to provide the greatest variety of marine protein to the Venezuelan people.

"The state of Sucre represents more than 70% of the national production of fishing, that is why we are here, in this emblematic company, Pescalba, which is the best in the entire east of the country," Laya said.

The visit of the Turkish delegation ended with a tour of the production units and processing plants of the entity to verify the operational capacity and potential of each of them.
