The fish fair arrives this Saturday in Anzoátegui state

From this Saturday the 27th to Wednesday the 31st of March the Socialist Fish Fair will be held in the 21 municipalities of the Anzoátegui state.

The sessions will be held in conjunction with the Local Supply and Production Councils (Clap), in strict compliance with biosafety protocols, to avoid coronavirus infections.

Hernán Rodríguez, economic development manager of Corpoanzoátegui, reported that the sale of fish and different marine species will be done with the support of the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture, the Ministry of Food, producers and private entrepreneurs as commercial partners.

He explained that the Ruta del Cuajao will be held simultaneously, on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28, where in addition to selling fresh and salted fish, cassava, vegetables, eggs and other food products are offered.

This Saturday the fair will be held in the municipalities of Urbaneja, Carvajal, Piritu, Peñalver, Freites, Independencia, Simón Rodríguez, Guanta and McGregor.

While the Cuajao route, which guarantees access to low prices of the ingredients of the typical dish during Holy Week in the east of the country, will take place in the municipalities of Guanta, Sotillo, Bolívar and Anaco.

For Sunday 28 the sale of fresh and salted fish will take place in the municipalities of Santa Ana, Aragua, Guanipa, Libertad, Monagas and Miranda; and the Cuajao route in Simón Rodríguez, Sotillo, Bolívar and Anaco.

"During Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, the Fish Fair will be in the jurisdictions of Bolívar, Sotillo and Anaco," added Rodríguez.
