Sucre will bring before the AN a Law of Special Development for Fishing

The governor of Sucre state, Edwin Rojas, together with the regional Fisheries and Aquaculture General Staff, formed a working table in which the proposal of a Special Development Law for fishing in the region was announced that will be taken before the National Assembly .

Rojas pointed out that the entity will submit proposals to the legislative body to promote fisheries and aquaculture production.

In this sense, he added that a Special Session of the State Legislative Council will be installed to honor the fishermen on March 14, the date on which a party will also be held throughout the country as the productive harvest of the sardine will begin.

During the congress those requests and ideas focused on providing improvements in terms of increasing the productivity of the sector were also evaluated, to be presented at the national plenary session of the Bicentennial Congress of the Peoples.

The meeting was attended by artisanal fishermen, sardine caravans and spokespersons for the Presidential Councils of Fishermen and Fishermen (Conppa).

“Fishing should be our flag, we are going to the political and institutional cohesion of this sector. You, our fishermen, are the protagonists of this historical moment that will re-boost the hydrobiological potentialities within the framework of the economic plans of the Carabobo 200 agenda promoted by our President Nicolás Maduro ”, the governor pointed out.
