Polifalcón chief officer dies during confrontation in Tucacas

Officer Federico Siliet and his partner attended the police call on a farm located in a rural area of ​​the El Pimiento sector in Tucacas.

The Chief Officer of Polifalcón, Federico Antonio Siliet, died of a gunshot to the head on the night of this Friday, March 26, in a confrontation he had with criminals who were attacking a farm in Tucacas, Falcón state, and where his partner was injured during the night patrol guard.

Officer Federico Siliet and his partner attended the police call where they were informed that on a farm located in a rural area of ​​the El Pimiento sector in Tucacas, Silva municipality, because an armed robbery was taking place. Upon arrival they were greeted by the criminals with shots, which led to the confrontation. 

Siliet was hit in the head by one of the shotgun shots, while the blasts also hit her partner in his humanity.

The incident was broadcast by the comrades of the wounded officials who arrived a few minutes after the shooting episode ended, which the thugs took advantage of to escape from the scene.

Federico Siliet was immediately transferred to the Prince Lara hospital in the town of Puerto Cabello, Carabobo state, due to the proximity of the area where the shots were fired, but he entered the emergency room without vital signs.

At the site of the event, commissions from Polifalcón, Cicpc, PNB and the GNB began the deployment and tracking in order to find the whereabouts of the murderers, following precise orders from the Secretary of Citizen Security in the entity, Miguel Morales Miranda.
