The Governor of the Guárico state, José Vásquez, inaugurated a new Asphalt Processing Plant in order to strengthen the road recovery and maintenance programs with a production capacity of 120 tons per hour.
Vásquez indicated that this plant is located in the Leonardo Infante municipality, specifically in the Valle de la Pascua parish, it will produce the necessary asphalt for the urban part and the main avenues within the framework of the Soy Guárico Plan and the Great Venezuela Bella Mission. He then highlighted that this was possible through the alliance between the Government and the private sector.
The assistance radius that the plant manages to cover includes the municipalities: Chaguaramas, José Félix Ribas, Pedro Zaraza, Santa María de Ipire, Juan José Rondón, El Socorro and Leonardo Infante.
In turn, these facilities generate 19 direct and 35 indirect jobs, which are distributed in the operation of the equipment as: 1 payloder, 1 backhoe, 1 vibrocompactor and 2 dump trucks.
Therefore, Governor Vásquez stated that the Guárico state has numerous trunk lines such as Trunk 2 (San Juan de los Morros-Puerto Miranda), Trunk 12 (Tiznado-Dos Caminos-Zaraza), Trocal 13 (Zaraza-San José de Unare) and Troncal 15 (Valle de la Pascua-Santa María-El Socorro-Pariaguán), in which they have intervened with the strategic actions of
paved and this new plant will be contributing to it.
“We are working on a 3rd phase for the asphalting of our communities. It has been a commitment that we have adopted to satisfy the safety of the roads of our state ”, expressed the regional Executive.
