A 35-year-old man and his two children, minors, were burned to death after the vehicle in which they were traveling caught fire.
The tragic accident occurred at 1:00 am this Tuesday on the Barinas-Táchira national highway, Troncal 005, in front of the return of Fort Tavacare from the city of Barinas.
According to the authorities' report, the victims were identified as: Sairo Orlando Busdamente Moreno (35), Orianix Gabriela Bustamante Ramírez (5) and Sairo Bustamante (12).
According to information from the acting agencies, Sairo Orlando Bustamante was driving a white Fiat, accompanied by his young children, to his residence in the Libertador de Socopó neighborhood, Antonio José de Sucre municipality of Barinas state. He allegedly lost control of the steering wheel and the car overturned, hitting a light pole, causing the unit to catch fire with the occupants inside.
Both the father and the 5-year-old girl died at the scene of the event, while the 12-year-old adolescent was assisted by firefighters, who transferred him to the Dr. Luis Razetti hospital, with 90% burns on his body and remaining no vital signs minutes after admission to the health center.
It was known that the father worked as a milk ruler in the Michay de Socopó sector.
The authorities carry out the investigation to determine the causes that caused the unfortunate accident.
