A blackout in several areas of the Carabobo state was experienced this Monday, after a heavy downpour occurred in the early hours of the morning.
Among the municipalities that were left in the dark are Valencia, San Diego, Los Guayos, Naguanagua and Guacara.
Although no official information is known about what happened, users reported the interruption of the service after the torrential rain that began at night and intensified in the early morning.
Through social networks, Valencians assured that the lack of electricity extended until the afternoon in communities such as Trigal norte and sur, El Parral, La Trigaleña, Las Acacias, La Bocaina, La Isabelica, San Blas, and Naguanagua, among others.
As a result of the blackout, some businesses were affected during the easing week.
