Doom: The Dark Ages has been officially revealed

The prequel to the acclaimed first-person action shooter will arrive on Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC in 2025

The moment has finally arrived! After endless rumors prior to the 2024 Xbox Games Showcase, Id Software finally revealed DOOM: The Dark Ages, the new installment of the renowned and frenetic saga in which the player takes the role of DOOM Slayer to annihilate a lot of Demons.

This single-player first-person action shooter, a prequel to the acclaimed DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal, will put players on the blood-soaked feet of the DOOM Slayer, the superweapon of kings and gods created to fight a war medieval against Hell.

Players will destroy enemies with their favorite weapons, such as the Super Shotgun, and will also be able to wield an all-new Bone Crusher arsenal including the versatile new Shield Saw. Battle your way through demon-infested battlefields as you wage merciless combat inspired by the original DOOM.

Players will take to the skies aboard the ferocious cybernetic dragon and crush titanic demons in the massive Atlan mecha.

DOOM: The Dark Ages, the cinematic story that tells the origin of the Slayer's fury, will arrive on Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, PC and PlayStation 5 in 2025.
