Stray is set to arrive on Nintendo Switch in late 2024

The winner of Best Indie at The Game Awards 2022 from Annapurna will bring his adventure to the Nintendo hybrid console

Lovers of kittens and indie games received a cupid's arrow thanks to Stray, a game developed by BlueTwelve Studio and published by Annapurna Interactive that came to PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch consoles. Its popularity was so great that it won the award for Best Indie of the year at The Game Awards 2022 and was also nominated for Best Game of the Year.

Now, during the most recent Nintendo Direct, Annapurna Interactive announced that the game will arrive on the Switch in late 2024.

But... What is Stray about?

Stray is a third-person cat adventure game set in the neon-lit alleys of a decaying cybercity and its murky corners. Wander around, defend yourself from unforeseen threats and solve the mysteries of this unwelcoming place, inhabited by innocent androids and dangerous creatures.

The game has players take control of a stray cat in a post-apocalyptic world. After falling through a hole in a walled city, the cat has to find a way back to the surface while interacting with the city's robotic residents.

See the world through the eyes of a stray cat and interact with the scenery in playful ways. Be sneaky, agile, silly, and sometimes as annoying as you can with the strange inhabitants of this strange world.

Along the way, the cat will make friends with a small flying drone, known as B-12. With the help of this new partner, the couple will try to find a way out.
