Chivalry 2 is the new free game on the Epic Games Store

The multiplayer medieval battles in first person will be available until next Thursday, June 6

Week after week, the Epic Games Store has offered free games since its launch in 2018. Just this week they revealed their second mystery game, being none other than Chivalry 2 until it is replaced by another mystery game next week.

Chivalry 2 is a first-person multiplayer slasher inspired by epic medieval movie battles. Players are immersed in the action of every iconic moment of the era, from clashing swords to storms of flaming arrows, sprawling castle sieges, and more. Dominate huge 64-player battlefields. Catapults tear apart the land as you lay siege to castles, burn down villages, and slaughter filthy peasants in the return of Team Objective maps.

A revamped, faster and smoother combat system offers an expanded range of creative options, allowing players to hone their playstyle. Surround sound and effects ensure that every hit comes with the sickening sound of steel sinking into bone.
