Rodríguez repudiates media silence in the face of US coup plans

The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, repudiated this Wednesday the silence of the international media, before the confession made by the government of the United States (USA) of being behind the coup attempts of State against the country.

"The communication corporations keep silent about what in the world would be a scandal: the loud and clear confession of the coup organized by the US against Venezuela, their failed plans to destabilize, frustrated assassination, the imposition of a criminal as a false President," wrote the Executive Vice President in her account on the social network Twitter.

The publication was accompanied by a video, where senator Chris Murphy is seen, who accused Elliot Abrams - "special envoy" from the US to Venezuela - of not "succeeding" in the country, and achieving "change of government ”in the South American nation; as well as acknowledging the participation of the North American country in the coup attempt, perpetrated in April 2019; headed by the self-proclaimed “president in charge” Juan Guaidó.

"We tried to build a kind of coup in April of last year that exploded in our faces when all the generals who were supposed to break their relationship with (Nicolás) Maduro (president of Venezuela), decided to stay with him at the end," he said. Murphy during a meeting with the United States Senate Foreign Affairs Committee.

Likewise, during his participation, he accepted the participation of the United States in the events registered on the Colombian-Venezuelan border in February last year, where an attempt was made to intervene the country, under an assumption of humanitarian aid. / AVN
