The draft Organic Law to Reform the Organic Law Against Racial Discrimination was approved this Wednesday in the National Assembly (AN), during an ordinary session.

The deputies present assured that it is necessary to approve this Law, since it would be the best tribute that can be paid to the victims of racial discrimination.

During the debate it was assured that more than 4 billion people in the world suffer extreme poverty and discrimination in third world countries.

In the same way, they recalled that in 2011 the creation of this Law was proposed and that is when new rights are promulgated towards ethnic groups and races like nowhere else in the world and put Venezuela as an advanced country.
