The candidate of Fuerza Vecinal, Raziel Rodríguez, received the document that accredits him as mayor of the Zamora municipality of the Miranda state, for the period 2021 - 2025, from the Municipal Electoral Board in a ceremony held in the Plaza 24 de Julio de Guatire .
Rodríguez obtained 28,744 votes (46.95 percent) in the municipal and regional elections on Sunday, November 21, in which 61,500 voters (44.26 percent) voted out of a total of 138,938 registered in the Electoral Registry.
He assured that in the first 100 days of his mandate, he will attend to local problems, such as the water situation in Guatire with the repair of the El Norte dam and will begin the repair of the access roads of Araira, in the Bolívar parish, to improve the conditions of life of mandarin producers and with a view to the export of citrus.
He added that it will improve the working conditions of workers, as well as municipal police, firefighters and Civil Protection officials. He also invited the workers of the mayor's office to join his project, he will not ask them for disincorporation. He assured that he will direct his management towards the people regardless of their political tendency.
They also received the credentials Lourdes Cedeño and Sherezade Arias from Fuerza Vecinal, elected as main councilors by Fuerza Vecinal.
In a separate activity, the Municipal Electoral Board proclaimed the new members of the Municipal Council, in the meeting room located in the Guatire Civic Center building.
Seven of the nine councilors represent the Psuv and the Great Patriotic Pole. The main ones are: Ivonne Rengifo, Daniel Pires, Ronald Figueroa, Norkys Armas, Jesús García Martínez and Doris Valero for the Guatire parish, as well as Jesús García Castro for the Bolívar parish.
