Maduro: Each conspiracy will have the response of the civic-military union

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, recalled the events that led to the coup on April 11, 2002 and assured that this action began with the arrival of George W. Bush to the White House on January 20, 2001.

"The arrival of George W. Bush to the White House meant the installation in the Government of the United States of the extremist conspiracy against the Bolivarian Revolution with the sole objective of extirpating it and assassinating Commander Chávez", denounced the Head of State.

During the COVID-19 balance day held this Sunday, he narrated that this change in US strategy had its apex in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, where the US stated “declared war on the world and began to develop plans to large scale to overthrow the independent governments and but it is special they set themselves the objective of extirpating the Bolivarian Revolution.

"We had just achieved consensus with that opposition, but everything changed in the second semester of that year 2001 and they turned into an extremist speech until they reached the strike in December of that year 2001, where they already asked for the resignation of Commander Chávez," he explained. .

In this sense, he drew attention to the fate of the protagonists of this coup. "Where are the protagonists of April 11? Where are they? What do they do? They were forgotten, abandoned and ruined, "he said.

He recalled the participation of the media in this attempt to overthrow the Venezuelan government, an action for which this event is known as the first media coup in the world.

He warned that as 19 years ago "every 11 will always have its 13. For each conspiracy, each plot the perfect civic-military-police union will wait for him to say revolution, revolution and more revolution."
