The Comptroller General of the Republic, Elvis Amoroso presented His Excellency Harib Al Amimi, President of the United Nations Conference of the States against Corruption and of the National Audit Institution of the United Arab Emirates, a document on asset theft belonging to our country, by Juan Guaidó.
Through the official account of the social network Twitter of his office @CGRVenezuela, it was written: “The Comptroller General of the Republic, Elvis Amoroso, held an important meeting with His Excellency Harib Al Amimi, President of the Conference of the States of the UN Against Corruption and President of the National Audit Institution of the United Arab Emirates ”.
Then, in another tweet it was detailed that during this meeting, the Comptroller General of the Republic, Elvis Amoroso, delivered a detailed work to the President of the United Nations Conference of States against corruption, Harib Al Amimi, "to demonstrate to the world the theft of assets belonging to Venezuela, by Juan Guaidó, protected by the management of the North American empire and led by former President Donald Trump ”.
The Comptroller General of the Republic ratified that they will continue to meet with the Presidents and secretaries of each of the UN commissions, in order to achieve in this way the return of all assets held abroad, recalling that this situation has been threatening the Venezuelan population
Dr. Elvis Amoroso said that the misappropriation of State resources was carried out, as well as the seizure of important oil and petrochemical companies vital to the economic development of the country.
Amoroso specified, via social networks, that “we are making an alert to the different member countries of the UN, so that this type of situation does not occur in other countries, much less the corruption techniques used by Juan Guaidó and his entourages to seize money from Venezuelans ”.
It is important to note that on September 10, Comptroller General Elvis Amoroso, during the UN International Anti-Corruption and Asset Recovery Convention in Vienna, denounced the strategies of the United States (US) administration to appropriate Venezuelan companies and assets.
On that occasion, Amoroso described that there is a triangulation between former officials, former deputies and officials of the US administration to steal the assets of Venezuela, at a time when it is experiencing an extreme blockade by imposing unilateral coercive measures that threaten multilateralism and prevent the effective development of actions to fight corruption.
