Fidel Castro Ruz Center inaugurated in Havana

This Thursday, November 25, 2021, the Fidel Castro Ruz Center was inaugurated in Havana for the study and dissemination of the thought and work of the leader of the Cuban Revolution.

The inauguration will be the central activity of an event to be held in the Vedado neighborhood, in Havana, where the La Colmenita Children's Theater Company will stage a play created for the occasion.

Army General Raúl Castro and the President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, today led the inauguration ceremony of the Fidel Castro Ruz Center. The ceremony was attended by President Nicolás Maduro along with the first Combatant, Cilia Flores and the Brazilian theologian Frei Betto, among other authorities of the Cuban government.

The opening ceremony was carried out by the children's company La Colmenita with the premiere of a play prepared for the occasion.

The institution will be the rector of research on the thought and figure of the historical leader of the Revolution, it includes exhibition rooms, libraries, meeting rooms, galleries, amphitheater, bookstore, printing press and an extensive garden.
