CNE: mock voting will be held on Sunday, October 10

The National Electoral Council (CNE) reported this Friday that next Sunday, October 10, a mock voting will be held in all the states of the country, inviting all eligible voters to participate.

Informative bulletin of the electoral body states that voters will be able to go from 7 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon to the 446 voting centers and 386 polling stations that will be enabled in the 23 states and the Libertador municipality of the Capital District.

In this sense, it indicates that the location of these centers can be consulted on the website www.cne.gob.ve.

It refers to the information that the Electoral Power will guarantee the protection of the technical operational personnel of the CNE, as well as the voters during the activity, in which 3 officials will work.

It also indicates that the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Ceofabn) will be responsible for the safeguarding and custody of the voting centers, and for the deployment and withdrawal of electoral material.

The Voting Mock aims to test all the technical, logistical and operational elements that are part of the electoral event, in order to certify the correct operation of the Automated Voting System in each of its phases.

Likewise, it allows voters to familiarize themselves with the voting instruments that will be used in the November 21 elections.

The electoral drill corresponds to activity number 65 of the Schedule for the 2021 Regional and Municipal Elections, in which 3 positions will be elected: 082 governors, 23 mayors, 335 legislators (253 list, 152 of nominal election and 93 of representation indigenous), and 8 councilors (2 list, 471 nominal and 420 of indigenous representation).
