Arreaza: Violent obsession against the country failed

Jorge Arreaza, Minister of Foreign Relations, said that the Government of Colombia failed in its "violent obsession against Venezuela" and asked the authorities of that country to take charge of solving the problems they are experiencing.

Through his account on the social network twitter, the head of the Venezuelan diplomacy asked his Colombian counterpart, Marta Lucía Ramírez, to receive the awards that Colombia has won in an annual record in drug production and Human Rights violations during the social protests.

The statement was made by Jorge Arreaza after the Colombian Foreign Minister reiterated that the United States and the Colombian nation support the ex-legislator of the extremist opposition Juan Guaidó, who has been accused of leading assassination attempts and coups in the country.

It is worth remembering that on July 2, during the promotion ceremony of the military personnel of the Presidential Honor Guard and the General Directorate of Military Counterintelligence, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, denounced that the head of the Southern Command, Craig Faller, and the director of the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), William J. Burns, were in Colombia to carry out a violent plan against his life and that of other high officials of the national government.
