The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela categorically rejects the press release of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, in which it introduces unacceptable qualifications about the results of the regional and municipal elections held with the most absolute normality and civility, on November 21.

The statements made in the aforementioned pronouncement reveal a hostile political intention against the Government and the Venezuelan people, and constitute an unacceptable interference in the internal affairs of a sovereign country, thus giving continuity to an aggressive agenda towards the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and its institutionality.

Venezuela calls on the United Kingdom to put aside the disrespect, interference and colonial practices that have characterized its erratic foreign policy, while urging it to rectify the misleading content of the aforementioned text.

The participation of all the political sectors of the country in the elections this Sunday and the accompaniment of more than 300 international observers and electoral accompaniment missions, certify the existence in Venezuela of a vibrant democracy and the robustness of one of the most audited electoral systems. of the world.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, despite the regime change policies promoted by the United Kingdom, will continue to strengthen the vitality of its participatory and protagonist democracy and reiterates, in the most energetic way to that country, the request for immediate return Venezuelan gold that is seized in the British vaults.
