They will record the stories of Colombian migrants in the country

Inclusion Truck will travel through the 64 border municipalities of Venezuela with Colombia to develop the life stories of the migrant community

A mobile unit called the Inclusion Truck will travel through the 64 border municipalities of Venezuela with Colombia to develop the life stories of the Colombian migrant community who live in the country, reported the director of the Association of Colombians in Venezuela, Juan Carlos Tanus.

During a television interview held this Tuesday, he specified that the deployment began on June 4 in the Sabaneta municipality of Barinas state.

“The mobile unit is going to tour 64 municipalities in Venezuela for 24 months. It began on June 4 in Sabaneta because of our feeling of Chavista culture, it is the origin, it is the embryo of the processes of inclusion of migrant communities in Venezuelan territory,” he expressed.

Tanus estimates that there are 4 million Colombian migrants in Venezuela and regretted that his country does not have a mechanism to monitor the migratory flow, AVN reported.

Moreover, highlighted the importance of the beginning of the peace dialogue process between the Government of Colombia and the Second Marquetalia.

“This is President Petro's third negotiation attempt to consolidate total peace in Colombia, which will demand greater understanding from the international community, because most of the conflict situations are developing in places where both Ecuador and Venezuela feel severely affected,” he indicated.
