Day of Loyalty and Love to Chávez
This Thursday, December 8, different social movements, government organizations and the people in general marched through the streets of Caracas with the aim of commemorating the Day of Loyalty and Love to Hugo Chávez, who 10 years ago made his last television address, in which he called for national unity and firmness to continue with the Bolivarian Revolution.
The march started from the Plaza de la Resistencia Indígena, in Plaza Venezuela, and arrived at the Cuartel de la Montaña 4F, in the 23 de Enero parish, where the mortal remains of the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution lie.
This date commemorates the last proclamation of Hugo Chávez Frías, made on December 8, 2012, during which the Commander and leader of the Bolivarian Revolution announced his return to Cuba to receive medical treatment and asked the Venezuelan people to elect as President to Nicolás Maduro in case of any eventuality.
