In this sense, the parliamentarian Alessandrello detailed that this stage was carried out in accordance with the provisions of article 26 of the Organic Law of the Electoral Power, complying with the period of twenty (20) continuous days at the expiration of the application period, after verifying the Requirements, based on the approved professional profile, to select these people eligible for the CNE.

Once this stage has been completed, the Nominations Commission would be presenting the list of eligible candidates to the Plenary of the National Assembly. “In this vein, we want to highlight the collegiate work of this Committee, where emphasis was placed on the rigorous application of what the norms establish, both the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Organic Law of the Electoral Power. This Thursday we will be publishing in two national newspapers the list of these 75 people who successfully completed this process, "he said.

On the other hand, the vice president of the Electoral Nominations Commission of the National Assembly, deputy José Correa said that “all the decisions made known by this commission and those that will be announced soon have been taken unanimously, highlighting all citizens who went to vote in December, those who did not vote and those who have never exercised the right to vote that 21 Venezuelans have worked to have rectors who can transmit security for the process of governors and mayors. We needed three for each applicant and we have increased to five ”.

He added that as of this Thursday with the publication of the names of the eligible persons, "we will give you the possibility for 6 days to challenge if they have something to object and those Venezuelans in turn, in case of being the object of any observation about them. They will also have that same time to make their discharges and after that time has elapsed, on the second day we will send the result of this evaluation to the chamber, allowing Venezuela in a short time, to meet new rectors ”.

Finally, Correa addressed the international community focused on the European Union "how pending are our elections, which they should also do with theirs", ensuring that these lists have been rigorously reviewed and thanked "all Venezuelans who they lent their name to compete and aspire to be rectors of the CNE. To all our thanks in the name of Venezuela and in the name of democracy. We did not mind thinking differently, because I believe that all problems must be solved by electoral means; never by force, never by a blow and not by an invasion exit ”.
