The legal team of Juan Guaidó received a warning from the commercial court judge, Sara Cockerill, in case of not complying with the payment order imposed by the British justice regarding the litigation for the gold of Venezuela kept in the Bank of England, reported the Zaiwalla & Co law firm, which represents the BCV.

During an online administrative hearing to discuss the next stages of the case, the judge warned that for the next hearing, set for three weeks from now, they will have to present "a better excuse", or they will get into "very serious trouble."

Guaidó's lawyers allege that they cannot pay the equivalent of $ 529.000 for the costs of the appeal trial they lost last October, due to financial and economic sanctions imposed by the United States against the government of Nicolás Maduro.
