At the closing of the XVII High-Level Joint Commission (CMAN) China – Venezuela, ten cooperation instruments were signed at the headquarters of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), located in Beijing.
The instruments include the areas of economy, geology, health (technology transfer), mining, habitat and housing (innovation in construction), electrical energy and telecommunications, said a note from Presidential Press.
Among its scope, the exchange of experiences, technology transfer, innovation, telecommunications development, as well as new cooperation opportunities to optimize digital infrastructure stand out.
Cooperation instruments signed
Specifically, the instruments signed between China and Venezuela this Wednesday in Beijing are:
1.- Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in economic development, which stipulates the organization of training seminars to share China's policies, technologies and experiences on macroeconomics, industrial development, infrastructure construction, green and sustainable development, digital economy.
2.- Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the digital economy, aimed at strengthening the coupling of digital transformation and development policies, cooperating in the construction of digital infrastructure and improving the inclusion of the digital economy.
3.- Memorandum of Understanding with the China Agency for International Development Cooperation. Which aims to exchange experiences in the development of human resources in areas linked to education, health, economy and commerce, public administration, environment, agriculture and SMEs.
4.- Memorandum of Understanding between the Geological Survey of China and the National Institute of Geology and Mining of Venezuela, for the development of projects in the field of geological cooperation, which will contribute to the strengthening of the National Geology Plan and, at the same time time, it will contribute to the quantification and certification of the country's mineral reserves.
5.- Memorandum of Understanding with the Chinese company Meheco for the strengthening of the National Public Health System, which includes technological transfer in the management and maintenance of medical equipment; construction, remodeling and adaptation of hospital facilities; comprehensive supply of medical supplies, medicines, reagents and equipment.
6.- Memorandum of Understanding with the Chinese company Meheco for the construction of homes and the production of medicines.
7.- Framework Cooperation Agreement on mining development between the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecological Mining Development and the company Fullgain Industrial & Trading, which establishes joint actions for the consolidation of the acquisition of mining equipment, technology transfer, exploration, exploitation and construction of an effective mineral trading platform.
8.- Framework Cooperation Agreement for updating the National Electrical System.
9.- Memorandum of Understanding between CANTV and the Huawei company.
10.- Memorandum of Understanding between Movilnet and the company Huawei, who will begin negotiations to define a Strategic Plan for the development of telecommunications and information and communication technologies in Venezuela until 2030.
At the closing ceremony, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, asserted that between China and Venezuela "a new history is beginning to be written," one splendor new era, after describing as “the best day ever had” the XVII High Level Mixed Commission (CMAN) China – Venezuela.
