The Secretary of Popular Power for Prevention and Citizen Security, Colonel (Fanb) Eduardo Alberto Almérida Padrón, reported through the social network @polimonagascpbem that in a balance of attention of the Bolivarian Government, 148 homes and 173 families attended were registered in the Alto de Los Godos, La Pica and Boquerón parishes of the Monaguense capital.
53 pipes were cleaned a month ago
Colonel Almérida Padrón stressed in the press release of the Government of Monagas that the Mayor's Office of Maturín in terms of cleaning has cleaned 53 pipes, drains and sewers for a month.
On the other hand, he indicated that despite the registered contingencies and the amount of water that fell this Thursday, the equivalent height of the pipes was 54,9 cubic millimeters, which he described as high risk, but the effects were not greater.

He stated that in the La Muralla sector, state institutions carry out medical days, vaccinations, fumigation and house cleaning.
Almérida Padrón added that more than 600 members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces and Citizen Security Organs remain deployed to guarantee attention to the People in the face of rainfall.
They shelter 134 people from the La Muralla Sector in Maturín
10 sectors of the Alto de Los Godos, La Pica and Boquerón parishes, in the Maturín municipality, were affected and as part of the care, the governor of Monagas, Ernesto Luna, requested the transfer of 31 families, for a total of 134 people, to the group San Simón school, a space that functions as a temporary shelter.
The governor called for calm and stressed that, with the support of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, police forces, Civil Protection, Firefighters and organized Popular Power; communities are supervised and cared for.
