The Alba hotel was the first vaccination point in Venezuela

A thousand people are immunized daily against covid-19 at the Alba Caracas health hotel, in the Libertador municipality, informed Dr. Oscar Galvis, head of the vaccination center.

“We serve a thousand people daily, starting at 19 years of age, and the vaccination process first goes through a registry, in which the person is asked for their data, then the habits that they must comply with for 72 hours are indicated. once you have received the dose of the vaccine ", detailed the specialist.

He indicated that in the immunization process they prioritize people with pathologies such as hypertension, hepatitis, diabetes, in order to protect the most vulnerable population. He made a call not to neglect biosecurity measures to contain the spread of covid-19.


The health authorities of Nueva Esparta began a special day over the weekend to vaccinate pregnant and lactating women.

The sole health authority, Maira Velásquez, reported that 60 women were vaccinated, under the coordination of the Ministry of Health with the Maternal Route program.

A comprehensive community health day for the 11 Hottua indigenous communities of the Pijiguaos parish, Cedeño municipality, Bolívar, benefited 1.950 indigenous people.
