Táchira led with 63 infections by covid-19

The Presidential Commission for the Prevention and Control of covid-19 pointed out that in the last hours a total of 352 new cases (281 community and 71 imported) were detected to reach 99.017 infections, according to Vice President Delcy Rodríguez Gómez

Via Twiter (@ drodriven2) added that Táchira is the entity that registered the highest number of community infections with 63. She reported that there were active cases in 4 municipalities. The other entities with a high number of cases are Yaracuy (62) and Mérida (35).

"Likewise, we fulfill the painful duty of informing that three new Venezuelans lost their lives because of the virus," Rodríguez said.

They were two men of 49 and 58 years of Táchira; and another of 59 in Carabobo. Now the total has gone up to 866.

Of the 99.017 infected, 94.046 have recovered for 95%, being one of the best averages worldwide; while the current active cases are in 4.105, with more than 98% in the national public health system.
