Within the framework of the Cayapa Animal Protein Plan, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, led this Saturday a new day of Campo Soberano, which benefited the inhabitants of La Guaira state.
During the activity, the Executive Vice President pointed out that "it is of great importance to keep the communes active, since large enterprises come out of them that favor both the community and the country."
"Ferias del Campo Soberano allow cost savings of 93%, compared to traditional commerce," said Rodríguez.
Of note was the delivery of footwear to 4.688 families in the Mirabal sector, through Plan «Z», as well as its sale at prices below 90% of the market.
Likewise, Rodríguez reported that 8 thousand tons of proteins are being distributed nationwide and it is estimated for the month of November to reach 22 thousand tons for the Venezuelan people.
Rodríguez was accompanied by Carlos Leal Tellerías, Minister of Food; Freddy Bernal, National coordinator of the Local Supply and Production Committees; Juan Laya, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, among other authorities, as part of the Campo Soberano Fair, which carries out the Cayapa Plan.
During the day, the Clap Productivos de La Guaira demonstrated their productive capacity, such as the Venelus bakery, which processes bakery wheat flour and sells bread, sweets and other products at affordable prices.
Attention to the neighborhood. More than 2.605 families were treated with medical services, pediatrics, a vaccination plan against covid-19, as well as the delivery of 72 technical aids, such as wheelchairs, canes, crutches, diapers, hearing aids, with the contribution of the mayor of Vargas.
The actions are part of the municipal government's "One Star in the Sun and Sea" program, where road recovery works, environmental sanitation, lights, fields and facades, among others, were carried out.
For his part, the Minister of Popular Power for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Juan Luis Laya, indicated that on this day there were fishery products from the same entity, such as the popular Cojinúa, sardines, tuna, as well as frozen products "that they are the best proteins that can be obtained from the sea.
