In order to solve the transportation problem faced by the inhabitants of the rural area of the El Hatillo municipality, Miranda state, the local authorities and the organized community activated the motorbús.

The residents have become drivers and supervisors of the transport routes, which will be subsidized by the municipality, indicated Víctor Lira, director of Roads and Transportation of the mayor's office.

Initially, they will provide service from Monday to Friday for the rural sectors of La Mata, Sabaneta, Turgua and the El Hatillo terminal, from 6 in the morning to 7 at night.

Lira specified that the ticket has a cost of 5 bolivars, while uniformed students and workers of the mayor's office with the El Hatillo Posible card will pay Bs 3.

Neighbors like Alfredo Materán, Jonel Vargas and Freddy Mac Gregor, residents of the rural area, have suffered serious transportation problems due to the lack of vehicles, for which they were forced to walk long distances to leave and return to their communities.

They say that when they heard about the transportation project, they were interested in knowing the solution offered by the municipal authorities and they also offered their service to work as drivers.
