More than 21 million Venezuelans benefit from social programs

This Tuesday a structural workshop was held that addressed the work process in the 29 social missions that are carried out in the country and each of the processes carried out by each one of them at the national level was reviewed. In it, it was reported that more than 21 million Venezuelans benefit from the National Card and the social programs that are coordinated with it.

This was announced by the Sectorial Vice President of Social and Territorial Socialism, Mervin Maldonado, during the event that was convened and directed by the Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.

"We discussed the work carried out with each of the national officials as well as their progress and what are the protection goals and how the National Card works," he said.

He added that in each of the spaces where Venezuelans live, social protection will be maintained and promoted.

"We remind all the missionaries who are in the national territory that we must continue with the care plan for the victims of the Economic War, as well as the rain plan and the social offensive plan that protects the population." stressed.

The also minister of sport said that progress is being made in the Social and Economic Cartography Plan to capture the characteristics of the population.

Regarding the Bases of Socialist Missions, he said that they continue to be deployed in the most vulnerable communities.

"There are more than 1.480 Mission Bases that have made it possible to reach the population directly and we are going to continue a process of follow-up and attention," he said.
