In Petare they prevent violence with talks

The Mayor's Office of the Sucre municipality, in Miranda state, conducts prevention workshops against domestic violence and child abuse in five of the parishes that make up the jurisdiction, especially in Petare, in response to requests from the organized Popular Power.

The information was released by Mayor José Vicente Rangel Ávalos, from the El Nazareno neighborhood of Petare, where a new Street Government session was held, in which medical care services, civil registration, cadastre, citizen service, sports and recreational activities, among others.

The municipal leader explained that these days have also included, at the request of organized neighbors, prevention workshops against gender violence and child abuse.

The activity is carried out by Polisucre officials, attached to the communal police, who train neighbors, especially women, on the content of laws and ordinances, which ensure a life free of violence, as well as all the legal system and penalties, which lead to mistreatment of children and adolescents.
