Reinforcing the mass vaccination plan to meet the goal of 70% of the population immunized against the Coronavirus, was the approach made this Friday by the Sectorial Vice Presidents of the Bolivarian Government with the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.
The senior government official, who is also President of the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of covid-19, led this working meeting from the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance, in Caracas, reported the State channel.
When reviewing the Mass Vaccination Plan throughout Venezuela, the evolution of the pandemic was analyzed, which adds up to this Friday, 495 days since the start of the global health crisis in the country.
The goal is to vaccinate 70% of the population before the end of 2021, through policies designed for dedicated and efficient medical and health care, which have made it possible to control the virus and its variants for more than a year.
For the Mass Vaccination Plan, free and in solidarity, biological Sputnik V, Sinopharm and Abdala are applied, vaccines with more than 90% effectiveness.
More than 270 immunization points have been arranged in the national territory, thanks to alliances with the friendly powers of China and Russia, with the always loyal collaboration of Cuba and other nations in the region.
Thanks to the international alliances of President Nicolás Maduro Moros, and the Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy, Venezuela has managed to dominate and keep the harmful effects of the pandemic low, registering as of this Thursday: 296 historical accumulated positive cases, and more than 863 280 recovered patients.
